7.5.4.6 Confirmation of Configuration Definition NAT/NAPT Rule

Confirm the contents of the configuration definition by using the show nat command

for the configuration definition.

7.5.4.7 Confirmation of Relaying Network

It is possible that the communication has been interrupted because of an

impediment in the relaying network. For the correction procedure, refer to Section

7.5.1, “Communication cannot be done or communication is disconnected” on page

7-23.

If PPPoE is used, see Section 7.5.3, “Troubleshooting PPPoE Communication

Failures” on page 7-44 and if DHCP client is used, see Section 7.5.2.3,

“Troubleshooting DHCP Client Communication Failures” on page 7-41.

7.5.5 Domain resolution is not possible in DNS relay communication

Three factors that may produce communication troubles in the DNS relay (domain

solution is impossible) are as follows:

1. Error in setting the configuration defining information.

2. Impediments in this device.

3. Impediments and setting errors in the name server.

This chapter explains the impediment positions and the procedure for dividing the

causes thereof as described in the following flow.
